Los cánticos de las barras de fútbol suelen tener como tema recurrente en sus letras el apoyo incondicional a los jugadores de equipo. En Chile, por ejemplo, se canta “te alentaré aunque vayas perdiendo…”, “esta hinchada no te dejará“, entre otras. Pero los hinchas del Inter de Milán no comulgan con ese pensamiento y destrozaron a los jugadores de su equipo por el mal desempeño que tuvieron en la UEFA Europe League.
El equipo de Gary Medel perdió cuatro de los cinco partidos que disputó en la competición y quedaron eliminados. En el duelo ante el Sparta Praga en el estadio Giuseppe Meazza, que estaba prácticamente vacío, los hinchas desplegaron un lienzo con un mensaje sin piedad: “Cuatro derrotas en cinco partidos. Se merecen esto por su pésimo rendimiento. Una vergüenza”.
Inter logró de igual forma ganar el encuentro, aunque eso no les sirvió y se despidieron del certamen ocupando el último lugar del grupo K. El chileno Gary Medel no pudo jugar los últimos encuentros debido una lesión. ¿Habría sido distinta la historia con el chileno en cancha?
