Fue durante una manifestación de la extrema derecha en Estados Unidos donde fue posible ver a distintas personas usando poleras alusivas a la dictadura de Augusto Pinochet.
En ellas se pueden leer las frases “Pinochet no hizo nada malo” (Pinochet did nothing wrong, en inglés) en la parte delantera, mientras que en la trasera se aprecia a un helicóptero lanzando gente al mar. Ahí mismo consigna “Hagamos que los comunistas vuelvan a temer a los helicópteros” y “remociones físicas desde 1973”.
En el evento que organizó Patriot Prayer y Proud Boys, donde se conmemoró un año de los disturbios en Charlotesville, Virginia, donde supremacistas blancos protagonizaron violentos incidentes que terminó con personas fallecidas; contó también con la participación de adherentes a Donald Trump utilizando gorras con la mítica frase “Make America Great Again”.
